Now to 30

Saddam is set to be executed within 30 days. Some how I feel no satisfaction in this. I suppose it really isn't about my satisfaction. So I wonder how everyone else feels about this. To me it seems like a really abrupt ending to years of torture from a man.

What does it mean for the Evil man to be taken down?

Too stupid to get a real job? Join the Army

The army changed its slogan a short time ago. Some people seem to disagree with the change. Those in the spotlight that aren't too busy adopting money makers, think the slogan should be "Are you a loser, are you desperate? Join the Army".

John Kerry said it a month or so ago,and now others such as Matt Damon are agreeing. Mr. Damon goes so far as to say a volunteer Army is unfair. Hhhmm. Yes those men and woman who join the military are evidently complete idiots with no choice but to join. True? Maybe for a percentage, of course instead of risking their lives for the Country they could go work someplace a little safer. How about those who don't know what they want to do and join up? Well thats ok too, at least they aren't busy sitting on welfare while they are deciding, meanwhile protecting our Country. How about those who join for the education? Well thats alright, at least they are protecting our Country. How about those who join to protect our Country? Well that will do as well.

My father joined the military to have money to support his family. Could he have done something else to do so, of course. He chose however to work for his Country while supporting us.

Two friends of Blogitright, serve our Country through the Military. One for the education, One to simply do his part. Does this make them any different from each other? Not really, they both serve and protect.

Lets think about this for a moment. What percentage of people are in a job or career because its the one they want to be in? Not too big of one. Does that mean they do less of a job, or give less credit to that profession? Absolutely not.

How dare people discredit those who serve us. Get rid of our volunteer Army? Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Should we talk now about the validity of those who hold political office or make movies?

You've made your father proud son

I am pretty speechless over this one. It seems this kid may have seen too many Primetime specials or maybe he just had a runny nose. Either way we better get him counseling, he may never be able to trust a woman again in his life. For the record have we investigated the teacher yet? Surely, she should be sent to jail for her part.

Distortion in the media?

The mother of a poor helpless innocent child committed the ultimate holiday sin. Like probably all of us the innocent tike couldn't wait until Christmas to open a toy grandma had bought him for Christmas. His scrooge of a mother decided to call the 5 0 on little Billy, and has now destroyed Christmas cheer for all.

Oh wait that's not the way the story goes, just the way the headlines make it sound. Gotta love the media.
